Ever dreamed of a life with so much freedom to do whatever you want, go wherever you want, like in Ariana Grande’s “7 rings” song?
I mean who doesn’t want to be asked “which of the items do you want to buy” and you’ll reply “All of them!” Yes! that feeling. The only thing standing between you and that dream is Money. True, money is the reason why most of us are suffering, hustling and struggling.
Over the past few months, I’ve learned something. Something that has really changed my life in a positive way.
If you want to get that “I’m-so-rich-I-can-get-anything-I-want” kind of money, you first need to understand money. Understand how money works so you can stop chasing money and let money chase you.
I have learnt;
That there are ways to attract more money
That there are things you can do in your 20s to become a millionaire
How fast it is to become a millionaire
What it takes to be a happy person
How to be less stressed and free
How successful people think.
A whole lot of things I have come to know, still learning and understanding.
It’s interesting to note that, I got to know all these by consciously deciding to develop myself. It’s amazing the things you learn through reading relevant books, listening to insightful podcasts, following and subscribing to life-changing contents like the ones mentioned above and more.
After finding this hat-trick key, I realized the content I see on my social platforms changed. I begun to feel furiously motivated to succeed. Even my morning activities totally changed! I no longer saw just news about how some celebrity went ahead to steal another person’s boo or some celebrity showing off his/her brand new car – limited edition, but rather found out how he secured that car, where he started from and how I can also get there and more.

I am the person who hates reading to the core. I mean I’m a math person so reading is a no go area for me. I only started developing a reading interest after finding that most of these successful millionaires and icons read books relevant to their needs in order to develop themselves and feed their minds with good stuff. I observed that they were unconcerned about the fake news and gossips, but instead, fed their minds with knowledge and connected with like-minded people. That’s how they made it.
The most important key to success and well-being is personal development and mind growth.Oston
Unfortunately, this key is never taught in schools- that’s the hard truth.
School doesn’t teach us:
1. How to face our inner fears
2. Unfold our full potentials
3. Change our mindsets and habits
4. The effect of our thoughts on the life we live
5. Earn money online
6. The laws of Karma
If you are fortunate enough, you may learn some of these in higher institutions.
But let’s look on the bright side…
These are not taught in our schools, meaning anybody can learn and acquire them. You don’t need a degree or a high school education to know how the brain works and how to use it to have a prosperous, peaceful and an auspicious life. It’s accessible to anyone and everyone. Illiterate or literate, old or young, poor or rich. So what’s your excuse?
If you’re reading this now, it means you have a device, internet and can read.
The internet is flooded with lots of information we can use profitably.
They say millennials of today spend most of their time on their phones but here’s the catch, you can use your phone profitably or just waste your time, life plus your bundle away.
If you love beauty and make up, follow such people on IG and don’t forget to follow people that post about entrepreneurship as well… else you’ll learn the art but will be home doing it for just your friends for ‘free’.
If you love soccer, follow people who post skillful moves but also follow people who post their success stories and how these top footballers got to wherever they are now.
Follow people who post about never quitting so when you feel like quitting, you find a post that keeps you motivated.
If you want to be an entrepreneur, follow people who don’t only post about what they have, but also follow accounts that share relevant information you’ll need on your journey to becoming a success. Follow accounts that will teach you how you can also get there. Read relevant books, listen to insightful podcasts, subscribe to info-packed channels.
If you want to grow your spiritual life, you won’t find Jesus or Mohammed online, but follow accounts that actually teach spiritual growth and not only the ones that say “you won’t die but have $10million in your account, type amen”
We need to cut down on certain things that do not grow us. We follow a lot of people that are living fake lives and put the flashy catchy things online and then we become eye red and envious, but for all we know, their account balance can’t even buy a plane ticket.
They have sad lives behind the camera. Not all that glitters is gold people. It’s about time we assessed our following.
